Our newly established production facility and office complex are located in Pirna, in the Free State of Saxony — right at the edge of the stunning Saxon Switzerland National Park. With excellent transport connections, our location offers ideal conditions for growth and cooperation.

D.I.S Germany GmbH was founded by David Diep, an investor from Silicon Valley, with a clear vision: to become a leader in electron and ion beam technology and high-precision manufacturing. Experienced physicists and engineers assembled from the very beginning.
After launch, the team moved to a temporary location in Kesselsdorf, near Dresden, with 800 m² of office and laboratory space to accommodate growing operations. The foundation for innovation was firmly established.
The team continued to expand and diversify its expertise, developing an increasing range of products, including ion sources, ion optics, and complete ion irradiation and implantation systems — broadening capabilities across sectors.
Start for the Center of Excellence in Electron & Ion Beam Technology and Ultra-High Precision Manufacturing in Pirna — with 1,850 m² office & development area and nearly 5,000 m² of production space.
Moving to Pirna and becoming a hub for innovation — enabling effective collaboration with partners in the United States and further strengthening capabilities in electron and ion beam technology.
D.I.S Germany has since continuously expanded its capacities and increased its production capabilities. New projects are in the planning stage to support long-term growth — Silicon Saxony member, active in Europe's most dynamic deep-tech ecosystem.
